No dogs are allowed between 09:00 and 19:00 from 1 December to 31 March.
Dogs on a leash will be allowed from 1st avenue to 5th avenue between 19:00 and 9:00.
Dogs on a leash will be allowed from 1 April to 30 November from main beach 5th avenue to Slabbert se Klippie at all times.

Melkbosstrand Beach is a seven-kilometre white sandy beach popular with surfers, and has beautiful views of Table Mountain. Melkbosstrand Beach is the ideal location for long walks, surfing, sunset viewing, swimming, kitesurfing, crayfishing, boating and windsurfing.
